Ninja Archives

The deadly Ninja Archives

  • Robot vs. Ninja in 3D ! Only at the con...
  • I've had a Flickr account for a while now, but haven't really explored it's potential for things other than free hosting for pictures.

The Flickr Blog is always posting about really neat things, so I've added it to my 'Blogs I Dig' list on the side there.

They also have a 'Flickr Tag Fight' feature that runs off Tags.

Tags are descriptive comments people add to their pictures. With the Tag Fight, you can enter two tags into search fields and see which one dominates.

Of course I had to try this with ROBOT vs NINJA.

    AND THE WINNER IS...

"Smoke it!" shouts angry robot

After Japanese Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi was attacked by a
Security Robot (click here for story) he decided to staff his government with Ninja Women (click here for story).

Ninja Women are perfect in this amoral world.

And people wonder why I so love Japan.

Not only does today's BEAVER & STEVE feature ninjas,
it actually features the rare and illustrious RED NINJA.

The Red Ninja rules!

I once dressed up as the Red Ninja. It's on video.

Is that wrong?

  • Here's a cool free on line ninja game: 3 Foot Ninja 2 .

It's kinda like Super Mario Brothers... at least in that you kill mushroom people.

There are plenty of other interesting games of various quality on that site as well.

  • Ah, there's nothing better than those yellowing, musty old comic book advertisments.

The back pages of old comic books easily put any bazaar of wonders to shame.

Included below are just a sampling of the many great ads to be found at :

    Steveconley.com's - Super Marketing section

Tomheroes.com - comic ads, video game ads, hostess cupcake ads and more

X-Entertainment - indepth review of personal experience with mail order bliss

    racoons
Wow. Look at that kid's eyes. You can tell he's not happy as he pulls the
dead baby raccoon out of the box.

    minidog2
This is crazy. Miniature dogs AND miniature monkeys through the mail ?!

As cute as that dog is, I'd think that the offer of the free monkey would headline
this ad, but no. It's dog, polaroid camera, tiny radio, THEN monkey.

The monkey, sad at this placement, actually tries to sell himself!

Poor little monkey. I wish I could order you now and give you a home at no cost, but no doubt I would get nothing but a tea cup full of dry old monkey bones.

    plan
Hmmm... I only count 6 monsters in this picture.

Waitaminute...that lady in the corner is attacking that man! She is the 7th,
    and most terrifying plant monster!

Note the other plant monsters watching her intently, learning from the master.

    ninj
    DAMN. Damn damn damn.

Why didn't I order this and learn to utilize and draw on the enormous
physio-mental powers which now lie dormant in my own body ?

For $5 you could get the Ninja's incredible Stars of Death, deadly
Retrievable Stone, AND learn how to be invulnerable IN YOUR SLEEP.

The illustration is a great selling tool - The attacker with the knife,
obviously thinking about how deadly ninjas are, misses the
business man and collides with his partner. Then EXPLODES.

That, my friend, is the awesome fear inspiring power of the ninja at work.

  • While scouring the internet for Robot! vs. Ninja! related stuff, I occasionally come across other great 'verses' comics.

Ninja Verses has a fun format and a great sense of humor. Click it.

  • Now that pop up blockers and email filters have become more advanced,
the evil Spam Warlords must hire Ninja henchmen to do their dirtywork.

    For example:

The Coffee Ninja got past my defenses !

Speaking of Spam, SPAMUSEMENT! is a fantastically crack-addled series of cartoons based on real spam subject lines.

  • In a crushing blow to Robots everywhere, a teenage girl dominated this year's
Robot vs. Human arm wrestling competition.

In honor of the snickering Ninja assassins, I offer ENTER THE NINJA.COM .
This site is quite well done and full of useful information. It even features Ninja vs. Killer Tomato.

  • Today's Comic: Robolove . Ninja vs. Zombie, anyone?

  • GREAT comic today - Doctor Roboto . Rated PG-13 for robot violence and robot language.

  • After exhaustive research, I have finally uncovered the epic struggle
between Robots, Ninjas, and Monkeys !

Here's how people think a throwdown between Ninjas and Robots
would turn out. Ninja vs Robot survey

Here's a cool short film on the subject! Robot vs Ninja Short Film

Bringing up the 3rd wave of the assault is the Monkeys vs. Robots war.

James Kochalka created a famous graphic novel about it, which
you can preview here: Monkey vs. Robot comic preview

He didn't stop there - he also made an Album about it! Check out track 3.
Monkey vs. Robot Album by James Superstar Kochalka

And last but not least, this song has it's own music video.
You can try to play it here, but no sites currently have a working version.
    Monkey Vs. Robot Music Video

Finally, one dark visionary foretells a nightmarish future in which
Monkeys and Robots turn their combined fury upon mankind !
Monkey Vs (versus) Robot - Or, That's Armageddon!

I believe that's all there is to say on this subject. I am also happy to report
that Monkeys and Ninjas currently have no beef with each other.

  • In case you didn't know, there is a huge debate raging across the Internet.
The debate is over the superiority of the Pirates versus Ninjas.

I was unaware of this phenom, but there's a very good
comic about it at PVN Comics .

Pirates, Ninjas, Robots...any bases we're not covering here?

How about monkeys ? Here's an awesome Cartoon Network Monkey game.

  • Great news... if you want to see this week's comic go to http://www.cartercomics.com!

I'm quite stoked to have the site FINALLY up and running. You can see a new
comic each monday, as well as all of my previous work.

There's even a store where you can buy your very own Robot! Vs. Ninja! gear. You can not resist.

For those that don't want any merchandise, you can click on any ads you see. 5,000 clicks pays me just as much as buying a mug!

A T-shirt would be slightly more.
