Here are some of the special fx I worked on for MEANER THAN HELL.
Here's a non-pyrotechnic squib at work... a sprayer filled with fake blood, hooked up to a hose alongside the actor's foot.
When viewed from the right angle, this should look like an explosive bullet entry wound. I hope my hand didn't get in the shot!
The plan was to affix a 'bullet wound' over our actor's eye and maybe run a hose along the side of his face that was hidden from the camera. I got ambitious and decided to run the hose directly through the eye wound. I hope it looks good on camera.
